In the dictionary, a caricature is a “likeness using exaggeration to convey a humorous or amusing effect”.  I think of my caricatures
as a story, rather than just a snapshot.  I want to capture a likeness, but also capture what a person does, a place they’ve visited, a memorable experience or even to put that person into a situation they’d wish for.  To do that I need to know something specific about their work, hobby, leisure or aspirations.

My caricature projects are guided by the photographs and instructions you provide. Over a process of several hours, each piece is worked up individually as a “rough” drawing which is then refined, transferred to the final board, inked, and then colored by painting and airbrush.

Generally, the better and larger the original face image I am provided to work from, the greater your satisfaction with the final project.  You will also be more pleased with a project if you provided a few specific traits I can use to customize the piece.  Also important are instructions as to eye and hair color (because photos can be deceiving).  Follow the Order Page questions and guidelines for your best product.  I’ll try to include as much as possible.
